New house, new housemate

I have signed a 12 month rental agreement and moved into a new house. It’s a beautiful house in a suburb that is trying to rebuild its name with a lot of new houses being built.

My friend Sam, who I got to move down to WA from QLD, lives with me in said house.

Good points:

  1. New house
  2. New environment
  3. Much closer to majority of the painting jobs I’m doing now
  4. Much bigger room for similar pricing

Bad points:

  1. Slightly more cost
  2. A lot more moral and legal responsibility
  3. No longer living with great, actively moral people

That’s all I have at this point for March 5th 2016

My Thursday

Hello everybody!

Today is not one of the more interesting days as I actually am subcontracted to another company for the whole day, Thursdays and Fridays.
With this in mind, I thought I would still share what I did today as a whole (until now – 5pm).

I spent hours designing and implementing a new marketing email for my client. It’s sleek and professional, just great all over.

I also read 38 pages (just started) of a book my housemate has loaned to me. The book is called ‘Big League Sales Closing Techniques by Les Dane’. So far so good! I personally always hated sales, well outbound sales to be exact. If someone comes to me with the interest to buy or look at what I have to offer I can give them the best deals and close them on emptying their bank account. I up-sell and I do it like a BOSS.

I realised why I hate outbound sales. I realised that outbound sales consists of CONFRONTING and CREATING interest for the product or service. Once this clicked in my head, a few days ago, I came to the conclusion that I NEED to do it myself. I HAVE to do it and confront it.

I have a great business offering fantastic products and services, why don’t I have the confidence to go and sell it? What the hell is wrong with me? NOTHING. I just didn’t see it that way. I do now and this is my new journey path – SALES.

I will sell my way to a multi-million dollar company in a year. Mark my word.

Peace out to whoever actually would be interested in reading this! If you go this far I would love for you to comment below and let me know what  you think, if you have any suggestions, etc. 🙂
